An unidentified man has been shot and killed at a party after he put on a bulletproof vest to prove he wouldn’t get hurt, police say.
There was a party of six-to-eight people in the backyard of a Houston, Texas, home when the shooting occurred.
Police were called to the scene at 1.30am Sunday after one partygoer shot the host when they put on a bulletproof vest.
A forensic team has yet to confirm if the bullet passed through the vest or if the shooter was accidentally shot outside of the area.

‘It is unusual that people would put on bulletproof vest and play with guns at a party, but these things happen sometimes,’ HPD Homicide Sgt. Mark Hollbrook said to ABC13 News.
Investigators are trying to locate two white males who might know more about what occurred at the party early Sunday morning.
One person is described to be wearing glasses while the other partygoer is described as heavyset.
Investigators said one of the males is suspected to be the shooter while the other one witnessed the interaction.
They have yet to release the name of the victim.
