The man — who police said was “expecting trouble” from his ex — called authorities so they could thwart her plans to enter the home in Texarkana, which is a Texas border city with a counterpart in Arkansas.
Officers said they arrived to find Korenek attempting to move a dresser. There were also reportedly several belongings already loaded into her car.
The items, however, were not her ex-husband’s property.
“Unfortunately for her, someone else now lives there and everything she had taken out of the house belonged to them,” police said.
Authorities said Korenek also appeared to be under the influence and discovered a pill bottle prescribed to someone else in her car.
She was arrested and booked into jail on charges for burglary, possession of a dangerous drug, and fraudulent possession of identifying information.
Texarkana Police announced her arrest in a press release stating, “just when you think you’ve seen it all…”
